What is Calld and why create it?

Calld is a new service changing the way freelancers find work, and changing they way open calls are filled. We are centralizing the live event professionals and systems engineers community because until now, there has yet to be a place to centrally share your voice and most importantly, to effectively connect the growing community together.

Who is Calld?

You are Calld. It might sound cliche but it's the truth. The A/V industry, whether live events, broadcast, or systems integration, is comprised with richly talented individuals who are yet to have a community platform to call their own. So in short, you, your colleagues, and your peers, are Calld.

I requested access, now what?

Since the launch of Calld, we have received a tremendous amount of support and interest in building the community. In order to ensure the experience is nothing short of amazing, we are limiting the initial legacy Calld community. We will review the submitted requests and respond with next steps.

What/Who is Talent?

At Calld, we define talent as an individual who freelances or has the ability to fill open calls by executing upon their specific and unique experiences. If you are looking for work, you are Talent!

What/Who is a Callr?

A Callr is one who is challenged to hire individuals (Talent) for various projects. You many be an Executive Producer, Technical Lead, Production/Project Manager, Steward, or the likes. If you are responsible to find team members for shows or projects, you are a Callr.

Will Calld help me find gigs or fill my open calls right now?

Yes, and due to the increased interest to build the Calld community, we are uniquely connecting Talent to Callrs to ensure each party is supported properly in the community.

Do you spam or sell my contact info?

In short, no. We do not sell or publicly share any unique information. Calld will only email with product and service updates or to connect Talent with Callrs.
